This class is for Reiki Level II and III Practitioners who either missed learning the life-enhancing original Japanese Reiki techniques or want additional practice of them in a supportive environment. Techniques will be taught from a perspective of traditional Japanese beliefs about energy that were lost with the transition of Reiki to the West.
Mikao Usui’s created his teachings as a form of personal and spiritual self-development for his students. He knew that practitioners must be dedicated to healing themselves before helping others to heal. Many of his traditional Reiki techniques were based on building the energy flow through the meridians and strengthening the Hara. This process purifies the practitioner’s body physically, mentally and spiritually allowing them to become One with the natural energetic flow of life.
Usui Sensei developed Reiki as a “complete system” for the practitioner’s self-care and self-healing. It incorporates precepts, symbols and mantras, hands-on healing, meditations and Reiju (attunement). Usui’s breathing meditation techniques helped his students cultivate their Ki to keep their energy clear and strong for helping others in the healing process as well as for themselves during their own many life challenges. Learning and applying the original Japanese Reiki techniques allows us a practitioners to enhance our ability to more fully integrate Reiki consciousness into our daily life and raise our energetic vibration for our work in helping others and our planet to heal.
